Iowa Flex/MBQIP District B Networking Meeting
Waverly Health Center 312 9th St SW, Waverly, IA 50677
Come together with your peers to network and discuss Flex/MBQIP measures with our State of Iowa Rural Hospital Flex Coordinator and IHC clinical improvement consultants. MBQIP measures are based on scientific evidence and can reflect guidelines, standards of care, practice parameters, and patient experiences. During our time together, we will explore new and current methods, as well as best practices for effectively engaging your team in the pursuit of improvement. We will be discussing how measures are utilized to evaluate hospital care quality and patient safety. We will take a closer look at the data related to arrival and departure times in the emergency department, as well as patients who left without being seen. Additionally, we will discuss strategies for improving performance in these areas. Collectively, we will analyze the hot topic of antimicrobial stewardship and review the new MBQIP measures while providing an opportunity for peer-peer engagement in an open discussion to exchange ideas and opinions.
